Brandon Meseroll Obituary, Death News – The 34-year-old man who was fatally shot in a hotel parking lot in Nampa last week has been officially identified. The Canyon County Coroner confirmed on Tuesday that the victim was Brandon Meseroll from Salem, Oregon. Meseroll was shot on Friday, August 8.
Authorities charged 33-year-old Saengutone Ty Maria in connection with Meseroll’s murder. Maria was arraigned Tuesday morning in Canyon County Court and faces a first-degree murder charge, which was formally filed on Monday, according to local media partner Idaho Press.
The shooting incident began early on the morning of August 8 when Nampa police dispatch received multiple reports of gunfire and a person possibly injured at a hotel parking lot near East Flamingo Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Meseroll deceased with multiple gunshot wounds.
Following the shooting, Maria fled the scene and remained at large for about five hours before Boise Police Department apprehended him. Police confirmed that Meseroll and Maria were acquaintances.
