Richard Lingren – A man was fatally shot late Friday night, July 11, at a bar in Buckeye Lake, and authorities are now searching for a suspect in connection with the incident. The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reported that deputies responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 11:52 p.m. at Louie’s Corner House, a bar located in the 11100 block of Hebron Road in Buckeye Lake. When law enforcement arrived at the scene, they discovered a man who had died from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The identity of the victim has not been made public at this time.

Following the discovery, detectives were dispatched to the location to gather evidence and interview potential witnesses. As the investigation unfolded, authorities identified 59-year-old Richard Lingren as a person of interest in the shooting. While the sheriff’s office has not confirmed whether Lingren is formally being charged with homicide, they emphasized that he is wanted for questioning and should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators revealed that Lingren was last seen operating a cream-colored 2011 Buick Lucerne. The vehicle has an Ohio license plate number HRT6785. Law enforcement is actively searching for Lingren and is urging the public to come forward with any information regarding his whereabouts.
