Mylo was last seen around 9 p.m. on Thursday in an area known locally as the “Muddies,” which is close to Ramsey Gardens.

Tees River Rescue, a volunteer search and rescue team, confirmed that they were called to assist around 9:15 p.m. on June 26, shortly after Mylo was reported missing. The organization deployed two search boats and a welfare vehicle, staffed by eight volunteers. While they confirmed their involvement, they stated they would not be providing further updates and reiterated safety warnings to the public, advising people to avoid the water and steep riverbanks during the ongoing search.

A spokesperson for the North East Ambulance Service also confirmed their involvement in the incident, stating they responded to the call at 9:29 p.m. and are currently supporting the search. Emergency resources on the scene include an ambulance crew, a duty officer, and three teams from the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART). The ambulance service is working closely with police and fire crews as part of the coordinated response.

As the search continues, local residents are anxiously awaiting updates and hoping for a positive outcome.
