Christopher Harrison Obituary, Death – A 56-year-old man from Hesperia, identified as Christopher Harrison, was killed in a collision involving a vehicle on Main Street, authorities confirmed.
The fatal incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Cataba Road in Apple Valley, according to reports from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department and the coroner’s office. Emergency responders arrived at the scene and found Harrison deceased.
Based on the sheriff department’s preliminary investigation, a vehicle was traveling westbound on Main Street when it struck Harrison, who was reportedly walking in the middle of the roadway at the time of the crash.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Orejel stated that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. There were no immediate signs that drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
Authorities have not released further details, and the crash remains under active investigation.
