Kenneth Eugene Middleton Jr. Obituary, Death: 49-year-old man killed in Sacramento hit-and-run while walking dog identified
Kenneth Eugene Middleton Jr. Obituary, Death – A man who was killed in a hit-and-run incident in Sacramento County early Wednesday morning has been identified as 49-year-old Kenneth Eugene Middleton Jr., according to the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office.
The fatal incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. in the parking lot of The Home Depot located on the 5800 block of Antelope Road. Authorities reported that Middleton was walking with his dog when both were struck by a vehicle.
Emergency responders from the Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District arrived at the scene, but both Middleton and his dog were pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle fled the scene before authorities arrived. The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is currently leading the investigation into the hit-and-run.
