The teenager who died in the crash has been identified as Marcus Bentley of Washington Court House. According to investigators, Bentley was behind the wheel of a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado and was heading northeast on the highway at the time of the accident.

Police say the crash was caused when a 32-year-old man driving a 2024 Chevrolet Colorado, traveling southwest in the opposite direction, crossed over the center line and struck Bentley’s vehicle head-on.

The impact of the crash was severe, and Bentley was ejected from his pickup truck. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene due to his injuries.

The driver of the Chevrolet Colorado sustained injuries in the crash and was initially taken to Fayette Memorial Hospital. He was later airlifted to Miami Valley Hospital for further medical treatment. As of now, his condition has not been made public, and no additional details have been released regarding his injuries.
