Monyette Marie Stephenson Obituary, Death – Two people are dead following a tragic incident involving a fatal shooting and an apparent suicide, according to police reports. The Anne Arundel County Police Department responded to a call about a shooting in the 1800 block of Bucklina Avenue in Odenton, Maryland, at approximately 10:13 a.m. Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a woman who had suffered a gunshot wound. She was identified as 45-year-old Monyette Marie Stephenson. Despite emergency response efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators quickly gathered evidence, including surveillance footage from the area. The video reportedly captured the moment of the shooting and identified the gunman as Stephenson’s estranged husband, 48-year-old Trimall Stephenson. The shooting took place at the bus service where he was employed, though police have not stated whether the victim also worked there.

Following the shooting, Trimall Stephenson fled the state. Authorities tracked him to a rest stop in Hamilton, New Jersey. As officers approached his vehicle to take him into custody, Stephenson fatally shot himself.

Law enforcement agencies from both Maryland and New Jersey are continuing to investigate the case. The Anne Arundel County Police are working closely with the New Jersey State Police to gather additional details about the events leading up to the incident and Trimall Stephenson’s movements after the shooting.

Authorities have not released further information about the motive behind the shooting or whether there had been any previous reports of domestic violence between the couple. The investigation remains ongoing as officials seek to understand what led to this deadly encounter.
