Keira Scott Missing: Police Scotland Searching for Missing Teen Keira Scott from Skelmorlie

Keira Scott Missing – Police in Scotland are appealing to the public for help in locating 14-year-old Keira Scott, who has been reported missing from her home in the village of Skelmorlie. Concern is growing for Keira’s safety after she was last seen around 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 28.

Authorities have released a description of the teenager in hopes that someone may recognize her and provide useful information. Keira is described as white British, approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall, with a slim build and red or auburn hair. When she was last seen, she was wearing a white top paired with grey flared joggers.

Police Scotland say they are conducting extensive enquiries to determine her whereabouts. Initial information suggests that Keira had indicated plans to travel to Kilmarnock. However, further investigation has led officers to believe she may have spent time with friends in the Greenock area until approximately 4:30 p.m. that same day.

Investigators also noted that Keira has known connections in other parts of Scotland, particularly in the Arbroath and Dundee areas. It’s believed that she may have made her way to one of these locations after she was last seen in Greenock. Given the potential distances involved and her young age, the situation is being treated with urgency.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Keira, spoken to her, or has any knowledge of her movements or current location to come forward. Even the smallest detail could prove vital in ensuring she is found safe and reunited with her family.

Authorities stress that Keira’s wellbeing is their top priority, and officers from the Largs Police office are leading the effort to locate her. They are working closely with colleagues across multiple regions to trace any sightings or digital activity that could help pinpoint her location.

The public is encouraged to contact police on the non-emergency number, 101, and request to speak with officers at the Largs station if they have any relevant information. Police have also asked people to remain alert and share any updates that might help bring Keira home.

As the search continues, Keira’s family and friends are deeply concerned, and the community has rallied in support, spreading awareness on social media and among local networks. Police Scotland has thanked the public for their cooperation so far and continues to urge anyone with information—no matter how minor it may seem—to come forward without hesitation.

The case remains active and ongoing, with police committed to following every lead until Keira is found.
