Kai Gini, Keven Garcia Obituary, Death – Two teenagers have been identified as the victims of a deadly crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Granite Bay. The Placer County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that the two individuals were 19-year-old Kai Gini and 18-year-old Keven Garcia. According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), the tragic incident took place around 3:15 a.m. on Eureka Road, located east of Bridle Path Lane.
The two young men were traveling in a 2022 BMW M3, which was reportedly moving at a high speed when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The car veered off the road, crashed into a tree, and came to a halt. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene, but sadly, both teens were declared dead upon their arrival by fire department personnel.
Following the crash, the road was temporarily closed for several hours while investigators worked to determine the cause of the accident. CHP officials indicated that the investigation is still ongoing and that DUI (driving under the influence) is suspected to be a contributing factor to the crash. However, at this time, authorities have not publicly identified which of the two teens was driving the vehicle when the accident occurred.
