Mary Carter Obituary, Death – A fatal hit-and-run accident in Trotwood on Thursday night left a woman dead. The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reported that the crash happened shortly after 9 p.m. on Hoover Avenue near Scotswood Road.
Authorities identified the victim as 66-year-old Mary Carter. According to the investigation, Carter was crossing Hoover Avenue when an eastbound vehicle struck her. She succumbed to her injuries at the scene.
The driver responsible did not stop after the collision. OSHP is actively searching for the suspect and is urging anyone with information about the incident to contact the Dayton Post at (937) 832-4794.
