Holly Knight Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the woman who was killed at a Louisville rehabilitation facility Sunday night.
The investigation began around 10:20 p.m. when police responded to a report of an unresponsive woman at the Praxis rehab facility. Officers discovered the woman with a cut on her forehead. She was transported to the University of Louisville Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 48-year-old Holly Knight.
On Tuesday, February 11, police arrested 48-year-old Angela L. Hensley in connection with Knight’s death. According to investigators, Hensley admitted to attempting to kill Knight using a towel, allegedly telling authorities that the victim “said she wanted to die.”
An autopsy later confirmed that Knight died from strangulation. The case remains under investigation as officials work to determine further details surrounding the incident.
