Jamarcus Golden Obituary, Death – Authorities have identified the man fatally stabbed Thursday in Decatur as 26-year-old Jamarcus Golden. He succumbed to multiple stab wounds at a local hospital early that morning.
Decatur police responded to the incident near the 1200 block of North Church Street, where they discovered Golden severely injured. Despite medical efforts, he was pronounced dead after being transported to the hospital.
Later that afternoon, an arrest warrant was issued for 28-year-old Timothy D. Chatman, who is wanted in connection with the stabbing. As of now, Chatman remains at large.
