The incident occurred when the driver, later identified as 26-year-old Sarah M. Yedynak from Oconto, lost control of her vehicle and collided with the back of a snowplow. The crash took place near the intersection of I-41 South and Frog Pond Road at around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday.

According to a statement from the Wisconsin State Patrol Northeast Region Fond du Lac Post, multiple first responder crews rushed to the scene after receiving reports of the crash. Upon arriving, they discovered that the 2021 Cadillac CTS had crashed into a snowplow that had been stopped on the roadway.

Sarah Yedynak, the driver of the Cadillac, was pronounced dead at the scene. Despite the severity of the crash, the snowplow driver, 50-year-old Michael W. Conlon, also from Oconto, was unharmed.
