The victim has been confirmed as 91-year-old Clifford Carr from Brookfield. The incident occurred on the afternoon of January 17 on Salisbury Street, where Carr was struck by a vehicle.
Emergency responders arrived quickly and attempted life-saving measures at the scene. Unfortunately, Carr succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after the accident.
The driver involved in the incident, a 68-year-old man from Randolph, stayed at the scene and cooperated fully with the authorities during the initial investigation. As of now, the police have not filed any charges against the driver.
