Marquis Shamond Woodson Death News – A violent incident at a birthday party in Harnett County resulted in one death and one hospitalization, according to the sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to reports of a shooting along Nutgrass Road in Bunnlevel, where they discovered 26-year-old Marquis Shamond Woodson of Fayetteville lying in the yard of a nearby home. Woodson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The party, which was attended by between 75 and 100 people, turned deadly following a disturbance among several individuals. Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats stated that two people were shot during the altercation. The second victim was transported to a local hospital, where they are listed in stable condition with injuries that are not life-threatening.
