Ramon Gilberto Morquecho Velazquez; Crash victim identified on Huffine Lane near Bozeman.

Ramon Gilberto Morquecho Velazquez – On Saturday night, a vehicle crash on Huffine Lane near the new Town Pump resulted in two fatalities and one injury, according to the Montana Highway Patrol. The Gallatin County Coroner’s Office identified the victims on Wednesday.

Ramon Gilberto Morquecho Velazquez, 41, of Glendale, Arizona, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado eastbound when he veered across the center line and collided head-on with a westbound Ford F250. Blanca Manzanares Ramirez, a 58-year-old passenger from Arizona, was also killed in the crash. Both were pronounced dead at the scene, with the cause of death listed as blunt-force injuries.

The driver of the Ford F250, a 16-year-old from Bozeman, was injured and transported to Bozeman Deaconess Hospital for treatment. The Highway Patrol noted that speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the crash, which occurred on a snow-covered and icy road near Mile Marker 84, about two miles east of Four Corners. All individuals involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the accident. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
