Kennedy Freeman Obituary, Death News – A tragic accident occurred on Sunday evening in Aiken County, resulting in the death of a woman. The incident took place at approximately 7:18 p.m. in Ridge Spring, located along Columbia Highway near Bogeyville Road.
According to authorities, the woman, identified as 22-year-old Kennedy Freeman from Gaston, South Carolina, was walking southbound on the northbound lanes of the highway when she was struck by an oncoming vehicle. Emergency services responded promptly to the scene, and Freeman was transported to Aiken Regional Medical Centers. Despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead at 8:16 p.m.
The Aiken County Coroner, Darryl M. Ables, confirmed Freeman’s identity following the incident. Investigations into the cause and circumstances of the accident are ongoing.
