Jacob Anderson Obituary, Death -A 23-year-old man tragically lost his life in a multi-vehicle crash over the weekend on a highway in Pottawatomie County. The incident occurred Sunday evening, shortly before 8:30 p.m., on State Highway 3E at Rock Creek Road, near Shawnee. According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) collision report, the crash involved two vehicles: a 2010 Chevrolet Avalanche and a 2013 Nissan Altima.
One of the passengers in the Nissan Altima, identified as Jacob Anderson, 23, from Shawnee, was severely injured in the crash. Despite being transported to a hospital, Anderson was later pronounced dead. The two drivers involved in the crash, one from each vehicle, were also taken to OU Health in Oklahoma City for treatment. They were reported to be in stable condition following the collision.
