Leondre Johnson; 28-year-old dies after car plunges down hillside in Allegheny County.
Leondre Johnso: A tragic incident occurred in Pittsburgh’s Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar neighborhood on Friday night, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old man. According to the Pittsburgh Public Safety Department, authorities were alerted to a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Rowan Street and Paulson Avenue shortly after 6 p.m. The vehicle, upon their arrival, was found over a hillside with the driver still inside.
The driver, identified by the medical examiner as Leondre Johnson, was immediately transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Due to the crash, the area around Rowan Street and Paulson Avenue was closed for a significant amount of time as officials conducted their investigation. The cause of the accident is currently under investigation by public safety officials.
