Authorities were called to the scene on the 1000 block of Ross Avenue around 8:25 p.m. on Saturday. There, they discovered a man lying dead on a sidewalk, having sustained a single gunshot wound to his upper torso.

On Wednesday, the medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 19-year-old Dorrel Ferguson of Wilkinsburg.
