Maurice Elliott Obituary, Death – The man killed in a shooting outside a Lexington laundromat has been identified as Maurice Elliott, 63. The tragic incident took place around 2 p.m. on Thursday in the parking lot of the Laundry Connection, located on Newtown Pike.
According to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, Elliott suffered a gunshot wound during the shooting and was transported to the University of Kentucky Hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. The coroner’s office ruled his death a homicide.
