Kevin Aker Obituary, Death – The Warrick County Sheriff’s Office has identified the driver who was killed in a head-on collision on State Road 68 in Lynnville on Thursday. The crash occurred at approximately 5:19 p.m. when a westbound driver, who later admitted to feeling fatigued and possibly falling asleep at the wheel, crossed the center line and collided with another vehicle head-on.

The driver of the second vehicle, 68-year-old Kevin Aker from Newburgh, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. The driver of the westbound vehicle, as well as a passenger from Aker’s car, were both transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The crash is still under investigation by local authorities.
