Seward Brandon Lott Obituary – A tragic single-vehicle crash in Midland claimed the life of 34-year-old Seward Brandon Lott early Thursday morning. The accident occurred at approximately 12:13 a.m. in the 11500 block of State Highway 191, according to the Midland Police Department (MPD).
Authorities reported that Lott was driving a 2018 Toyota Camry when the crash unfolded. The red Camry initially left the south service road, reentered the roadway, and began skidding sideways before veering off again. The vehicle rolled over during this sequence and collided with a utility pole, completely severing it at the ground level.
Lott was partially ejected from the vehicle and became pinned underneath it. Emergency responders from the Midland Fire Department arrived at the scene to free him from the wreckage. He was rushed to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident is ongoing.
