Paul D. Moore Obituary, Death: Authorities Identify Man Killed in Fond du Lac County Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer Crossing Center Line
Paul D. Moore Obituary, Death – Authorities have provided an update on the fatal crash that occurred in Ripon early Thursday morning, where a tractor-trailer truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with a van. The Wisconsin State Patrol Northeast Region Fond du Lac Post and WisDOT have identified the victim as 59-year-old Paul D. Moore from Waupun.
The crash took place around 3:30 a.m. on December 5, on WIS 26 at Hickory Road, near Ripon. According to officials, a tractor-trailer truck was traveling north on WIS 26 when it crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a Dodge Grand Caravan that Moore was driving. Moore died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The driver of the tractor-trailer truck, a 29-year-old man, was not injured in the incident. Authorities have not released additional details about the crash or the circumstances surrounding it.
