Eli Cole Blackburn Obituary, Death – A tragic single-vehicle crash in Butler County has led to the death of a Georgiana man. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the accident occurred early Wednesday morning, around 6:25 a.m., on Mount Pisgah Road, located approximately 11 miles west of Greenville.
The victim, 19-year-old Eli Cole Blackburn, was driving a 2000 Toyota Tacoma when the vehicle veered off the road and overturned. Authorities report that Blackburn was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, which resulted in him being ejected from the vehicle. Despite the efforts of first responders, Blackburn was pronounced dead at the scene.
